What is the LONGi LR7-72HVH 630-650W, and what makes it stand out?
- Series: LONGi Hi-MO X10 Explorer — a 144-cell BC (Back Contact) panel producing 630-650W each
- Efficiency: up to 24.1% (650M version), with a positive-only power tolerance of 0~3%
- Warranty: 15-year materials & processing + 30-year linear power — <1% degradation in year one, then 0.35%/year, leaving 88.85% at year 30
- Size/weight: 2382×1134×30 mm, 28.5 kg — suited to commercial projects, factories and wide roofs that want high wattage per panel
The LONGi LR7-72HVH 630~650M is a solar panel in the Hi-MO X10 Explorer series from LONGi, one of the world's largest panel manufacturers. What sets this model apart is the combination of TaiRay wafers and BC (Back Contact) cell technology, which moves every electrical contact to the rear of the cell — so the front face captures light across its full surface, with no busbars in the way. The result is module efficiency of up to 24.1% in the 650W version, placing it among the higher-efficiency panels on today's market. The datasheet also notes it is designed for the distribution market — commercial and residential rooftop installations.
Datasheet Highlights
- High wattage per panel, 630-650W: fewer panels for the same installed capacity — saving roof space, racking and installation time
- Up to 24.1% efficiency: with a positive-only power tolerance of 0~3% (you get the label wattage or more, never less)
- Slow degradation: no more than 1% in year one, just 0.35% per year in years 2-30 — a guaranteed 88.85% of output remaining at year 30
- BC cells run cooler: a Pmax temperature coefficient of just -0.260%/°C, so less output is lost in Thailand's tropical heat
- Strong build: rated for 5400Pa front and 2400Pa rear loads, hail tested with 25 mm hail at 23 m/s, dust- and waterproof IP68 junction box with 3 diodes
- Fully certified: IEC 61215, IEC 61730, UL 61730, plus ISO9001 / ISO14001 / ISO45001 / IEC62941 quality management systems

What Is It Best For?
With its large format (over 1.1 m wide and nearly 2.4 m long) and high output per panel, this model is best suited to commercial and industrial work — factory rooftops (our factory guide is available in Thai), warehouses, hotels, office buildings, or homes and villas with wide roof areas. The higher the wattage per panel, the fewer panels, mounting points and cable runs you need for the same installed capacity, making better use of the roof. For smaller house roofs or roofs with many planes, our team may recommend a standard-format panel that can be placed more flexibly — compare panel brands in Thai, or see all the equipment we install.
