Solar Installation Services in Phuket — What We Do for You

Our crew comes from the generator and standby-power business that has served hotels and factories in Phuket for years. Every step of every installation is done by our own team — from crimping the connectors to full system testing before handover. On this page we lay out each service in detail: price ranges, what's included, and photos from real job sites.

Solar Design & Installation

We design around your actual electricity use — reviewing your past bills, when you use power, and the condition of your roof on site — before choosing the system size and type that fits. We don't sell one package to every home, because a system bigger than your real usage is simply money that pays back slower.

On-GridSolar power during the day, grid power for the rest. No battery.Homes/businesses with high daytime use — lowest upfront cost, fastest payback
HybridLike on-grid, plus a battery that stores power for night-time or outagesHomes with frequent outages, heavy night-time use, or businesses that can't lose power
Off-GridRuns fully independently, with no grid connection at allLocations the grid doesn't reach, such as farms or remote land

Energy Storage Systems (Battery / ESS)

A battery stores the excess solar power you produce during the day for use at night, and becomes instant backup the moment the grid goes down. It adds roughly 4,000-5,000 THB per kWh — we'll run the numbers first to see whether your usage actually justifies a battery, because not every home needs one.

PEA Grid-Connection Permits

Any system connected to the grid (on-grid and most hybrids) must be properly registered with PEA (Provincial Electricity Authority) — Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi are all PEA territory. We handle every step, so you barely touch the paperwork. Forms and regulations change from time to time, and a team that files regularly gets far fewer rejections and resubmissions.

What we do for you

  • System design and electrical drawings (Single Line Diagram), certified by a licensed engineer
  • Grid-connection application filed with PEA, with the complete supporting document set
  • Coordination through the review stage, and scheduling of the on-site inspection
  • Grid synchronisation and meter change/configuration until the system is fully in service

Total time, roughly: several weeks to about 1-3 months, depending on system size and PEA's workload at the time

Documents we prepare

  • The connection application and the system's electrical drawings
  • Key equipment specifications — we only use inverters on PEA's approved list
  • Licensed-engineer certification documents where required
  • From your side, only the basics: a copy of the meter owner's ID card (or company registration documents) and proof of ownership of the property

Maintenance & Aftercare (O&M)

Dirty panels can lose anywhere from a few percent up to around 15-25% of output, and grime that shades cells is a hot-spot risk. Phuket has both coastal salt spray and heavy rain, so scheduled care pays for itself — far better than quietly under-producing for months without knowing.

What each service visit covers

  • Panels washed with clean water and soft tools (no pressure washers, no stepping on panels)
  • Inverter check — operating status, error logs and cooling
  • Output compared against expected values, to catch drops before they grow
  • Connections, terminals and protective devices checked for tightness and safety
  • Mounting and structure inspected, especially after storms or heavy rain

How often should it be checked

Site conditionsRecommended interval
Typical homes in Phuket / the Andaman coastEvery 3-6 months
Beachfront (salt spray) / dusty / near busy roadsEvery 2-3 months

We also look after systems installed by other companies — we inspect and assess the site first, then propose a care plan based on its actual condition

Backup Power Systems + Generators

This is where we differ from typical solar installers — our team comes from the generator business serving hotels and factories in Phuket, so we can design every layer of backup power in a single job, not just the solar side.

LayerEquipmentRole
1Solar panelsGenerate power during the day, cutting your bill every sunny day
2Battery (ESS)Instant power the moment the grid fails, plus stored energy for night-time use
3GeneratorCarries large loads and long outages — for operations that can't stop, such as hotels, clinics, cold rooms and farms

A typical home may only need layers 1-2. For businesses where the power can never go down, we design all three layers to work together automatically — sized from the site's real load, never overspecified

Energy Equipment Sales

The equipment we sell is the same equipment we install on real jobs. Every model has its own spec page with the manufacturer's actual datasheet to download — no need to take the marketing on faith, compare the specs yourself.

Common questions about our services

Is the site survey and system design free?

Yes — completely free. We survey your site, assess your usage from your real electricity bills, and provide a quote at no cost and with no obligation. Decide after you have seen the payback numbers for your own home.

How long does solar installation take before I can use the power?

Rooftop installation for a typical home is usually finished within a few days. The longer part is the permit and grid-connection process with PEA (Provincial Electricity Authority) — allow several weeks to around 1-3 months overall, depending on system size, how complete the paperwork is, and PEA's queue at the time.

What warranties do I get?

Solar panels carry a performance warranty of around 25-30 years and a product warranty of around 10-15 years, depending on brand and model. Inverters are covered for around 5-10 years. On top of that comes our own installation warranty, with terms clearly stated in writing in the quote — more detail in our warranty article (in Thai)

Which areas do you cover?

Phuket is our home base, and we work across the Andaman coast — Phang Nga (including Khao Lak) and Krabi. Past projects include sites in Phuket and a factory warehouse in Natai, Phang Nga. See the full coverage area (in Thai)

Can you take over a solar system installed by another company?

Yes — we inspect and assess the system on site first. If the equipment and overall condition are serviceable, we can offer the same maintenance (O&M) plan we provide for systems we installed ourselves.

Why does a solar company also do generators?

Our team grew out of a generator and standby-power business serving hotels and factories in Phuket. That is why we can design a complete power system — solar, battery and generator — in a single job, ideal for businesses where the power can never go down.
